In addition to the challenge of providing zero-defect products within strict manufacturing deadlines, we had to provide scrupulous process documentation according to the standards of this heavily regulated industry.

These sight flow indictors were designed to provide direct visual communication in processes with radioactive flow media. Every component of the assemblies, including the unit body, glass, and seals had to be manufactured from the highest quality certified materials. We scrutinized our manufacturing processes down to the smallest detail to ensure we satisfied the extreme requirements of the specification. There was no room for error - even a microscopic flaw could cause premature failure with catastrophic results.

Materials of construction included stainless steel and high-strength carbon alloys. We manufactured the lens from high-strength tempered glass and the gaskets from a range of compatible elastomers. Frequent quality audits combined with numerous client inspections occurred throughout the entire 24-week manufacturing cycle. In addition to persistent dimensional inspection, we provided a full analysis of the chemical and physical properties of all the materials. Exhaustive hydrostatic testing, using real-world process parameters, ensured the assemblies would safely hold at their rated temperature and pressure. Much of the quality assurance was completed by certified inspectors and thoroughly documented to ensure compliance.
