Liquid Level Gauges
Reflex and Transparent

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

Our armored liquid level gauges are available in L (low), M (medium), and H (high) pressure series with reflex or transparent lenses. Liquid chambers are made with a single continuous steel or type 316 stainless steel chamber regardless of the number of gauge sections. These units are provided with 1/2" NPTF end connections. Other sizes and types of end connections as well as side connections are available.

REFLEX GAUGES
Reflex gauges allow accurate reading of liquid level at a glance. These gauges use a reflex style lens. Reflex lenses have prisms on the side facing the liquid extending the full viewing length. The area of the lens covered by liquid does not reflect light and appears dark. Light striking the area not covered by liquid is reflected brilliantly, so the area appears silvery.

TRANSPARENT GAUGES
Transparent gauges are used to see both the liquid level and characteristics. Clear lenses are mounted on the front and back of the liquid chamber. Transparent lenses can be used with shields when handling corrosive liquids. For easier liquid observation in dark areas, illuminators are available for use with transparent lenses.
